Our Technology
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is a technology that utilizes light-based treatment, commonly employed in dermatology to address conditions like rosacea and reduce telangiectasia. Recently, it has been adapted for eye care to tackle meibomian gland dysfunction and Dry Eye disease.
During an IPL procedure, light pulses are carefully applied to the skin surrounding the eye, targeting the underlying cause of inflammation. IPL treatments are known for their effectiveness, gentle nature, and safety.
Moreover, this therapy can also serve as an alternative to medication or surgery when treating styes in the eyelids.
